Our Mission
The Santa Barbara County Cattlemen’s Association is comprised of individuals who raise cattle, endeavoring to produce a safe and healthy food source for the general public. It is also comprised of individuals who are interested in the well-being of the cattle industry in all its components including beef production, marketing, range improvement and relations with the public.
The goal of the Association is to promote the sustainability of ranching in Santa Barbara County. The Association addresses the questions and needs of Santa Barbara County beef cattle producers on local and regional issues, while emphasizing the individual’s rights of private property ownership, and the corresponding responsibility of good stewardship thereof.
SBCCA is affiliated with the California Cattlemen’s Association and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
